[about] documenting the little things

I’m Arti, a twenty-something hopeless romantic turned pessimist… who happens to be in medical school.

This  blog initially started as a photo a day project in 2013, after a particularly rough year (hence the “daily dose” aspect of my blog name.) It was my way of remembering the day-to-day and the simple things in life that made me smile. I liked having a place where I could share whatever, so I tried to keep it going.

Then life got hectic, when I started working, and then even more hectic when I went back to school to get my Master’s degree.

Now I’m in medical school, pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a physician. My free hours are sparse, but taking pictures and writing about things that make me happy is still something I want to continue. I want this to be a space where I can share my perspective and random thoughts as I go through what will probably be the toughest years of my life.

This blog is on hold for now as I study for board exams. I hope to come back and start posting again in 2018.

I hope you’ll stick around.
